Memorial Day Fun

We had a lot of fun on monday. We "had" to take the jet ski out to make sure it was good to go. (Twist our arms) Anyway, all was good. Kiya loves the water and the "boat". Whenever we take her out on it she always tells us to go faster. I am sure that we will spend a lot of time on
it this year. We have a lake 10 minutes away. We have to thank Ryans parents for this fun day. We got the jet ski from them.

Kiya was in the water in a flash. We have to make sure her life vest is on before she gets out of the car.

Brekken was pretty interested with the Jet Ski. What a boy!

Kiya likes to blow the whistle attached to the key. If she isn't telling us to go faster she is tooting the whistle.

She has a lot more fun on the jet ski with her dad. He is braver than I am. I can't blame her. I like it better when he takes me out. I am a chicken on it.

Kiya can't wait to get going. Little kids life vests just "crack" me up.

Wii Fit

Ryan got me a Wii Fit for mothers day. It was delivered last Wednesday. Last night was the first chance I had to get it set up and start using it. I LOVE IT! It was really fun to play/exercise. I'll have to see if my "stats" (balance, BMI, Weight) get better, but hey I got my heart rate up and it was fun.

I Love 'em

I had laid Brekken down on his floor mat while I was cooking. When I peeked into the living room to check on them (they were a little too quite) this is what I saw. Kiya had made a tent for them. Too cute!

Kiya loves to love on Brekken. She is so helpful and sweet with him.

3 months

Brekken is now 3 months old, and he is my little chunky monkey. He is now 14 lbs 1 oz. He is a good baby but love to be held. He is sleeping very well at night for which I am so thankful. We are very blessed to have him in our lives.

What a wonderful Mothers Day

I have had a wonderful day so far. I thought I would list for you some of the highlights.
Breakfast in Bed that was made by my husband
Nice Church Services
Beautiful Weather
Lovely chat with my mom, who got to be in the comfort of her own home and not in a hospital on her mothers day.
10 minutes of me time! Sorta anyway. The baby is sleeping, Kiya is entertaining herself, and Ryan is making dinner and helping with the mound of clothes that I was able to get all washed but not folded. I offered to help but he told me to "put your feet up". I decided I would do a little blogging and internet shopping. I got an online gift card as part of my mothers day present. I am trying to decide how to use it. I also got a Wii Fitness. (It will actually arrive in about a week but I am so excited to use it.) I love being a mom so much, and now that I am a mom I can appreciate and understand my mother so much more. So to my mom and all the other moms I know. Happy Mothers Day! I hope your day is what you wish it to be.
Kiya loves Brekken. They both had just woke up and she wanted to hold him. What a great big sister she is.
Kiya was so excited for her new helmet and bike gear. She looked so cute in her gear.
Brekken tends to like Kiya's chairs much better than his own.

Ryan snuk over to one of my friends that is a big scrapbooker and made me a mother day card. It was really sweet of him to venture into my scrapbooking world, and he did a good job on the card.
